Gracie likes to tell people they have “dog breath.” She’s not going to have any friends if she’s so bossy and mean. She’s definitely the queen bee at her preschool. They all follow her around and do whatever she wants. A three year old Mean Girl, great. I’m calling Dr Phil.
Last night was the AOL Christmas party and it was quite wonderful. A steak dinner and Chronicles of Narnia, completed by complimentary popcorn and drinks during the movie. It rocked! There were these great looking desserts, but several of the classier AOL employees took about 7 apiece, so we didn’t get dessert. Too bad, cause they were delicious- looking treats. Boooo for people who think they need multiple desserts. Boooo for you who don’t leave a chocolate truffle for the pregnant lady!
Ah, all the Christmas shopping is done. Most of it was online. I love my high-tech-compter-saavy self (Chris is laughing his butt off at me right now!) But I did have to go to a brick and mortar Target for a mystery shop the other day. I got $25 worth of whatever I wanted at Target–can’t beat that. It just sucked that all the employees I shopped missed their opportunity–they didn’t do one thing they were supposed to! I wanted so badly for someone to–they would have received $50! What a nice little Christmas bonus! Why can’t people just have basic customer service skills???
Well, 6 days till Christmas! Yay!

Hi, thanks for your comment on my site. So how long were you guys in ministry?… and it sounds like that just ended? How are you guys doing with that? We had a hard ending at one of our earlier youth pastoring jobs. It was a hard period as we figured out what to do with our lives. We were sad and hurt, and frustrated. My husband took a break from ministry and did some computer jobs for awhile.
Now almost 10 years later, we are back in youth ministry and love it! We’ve been at this church for about 8-9 years, and are thankful to be working with teens.
Nice to talk to you more….
